You know as an adult, little ones are not the only ones that enjoy entertainment.
* You need to know who you are inviting to engage with your kids, family and friends.
* Fitzwilly the clown is wonderfully cute, fun, experienced and an energetic entertainer.
* Remember, if you are calling and our answering machine picks up, please leave a message including your name, phone number, city and date of your event and the kind of service you are interested in. Please speak clearly. We will return your call just as soon as possible.
* Some kids and adults may be surprised to see a clown at your event. The best thing to do if someone gets too surprised is to gently assist them by taking them into another room or area where the clown cannot be seen. If this person is only slightly shy or slightly surprised, then maybe the best thing to do is take them to either the way opposite side of where the clown is or inside where a window is to see the clown there. Never insist someone like this stay near a clown or costumed character. This will only frighten them. Fitzwilly the clown is a professional and knows how to approach children young and the young at heart. It is best for a shy child to observe entertainer from a distance. When ready, the child can let you know when ready to approach the entertainer.
INSURANCE:
Customer responsible for any and all city, residential and park permits. Check location City Hall or Parks & Rec. Dept. Some locations require "Additional Insured Named". This kind of additional insurance takes about 2 weeks if Risk Management for park requires also an "Original Certificate".
RUN A SMOOTH PARTY OR EVENT:
* Plan entertainment well in advance to assure availability.
* Let guests know in advance what times your entertainment are scheduled for. We suggest including activities schedule in the invites. You are welcome to print out Fitzwilly the clown's photo from this website to include in the invitations. You are also welcome to include our phone number in the invite, in case any parents have any questions about the kind of fun he will be providing.
* Hire appropriate entertainment for appropriate age groups. Example: kids over 8 years old may prefer a Games Master or Balloon Artist or Face Painter rather than a Clown and so on.
* Designate space for rented equipment or hired entertainment. The last thing you want to see is your party or event ruined due to not having space needed. We like the kids to have some elbow room and the entertainer to be able to breathe. It is best to seat kids at least 4ft away from Fitzwilly. This way they are not straining their necks to look up and end up only seeing the bottom of his nose.
* Hire our services for a reasonable amount of time to smoothly entertain the number of guest you'd like us to accommodate. Remember "Haste makes waste". We prefer not to rush, for quality sake. Approximately 5 minutes per child to include a simple face painting and a simple animal balloon. Advanced face painting and advanced balloon art requires more time.
* During rainy weather, we require shelter to be provided for both guests and entertainers by our customers.
* During hot weather, we suggest shade to be provided for both guests and entertainers by our customers. Children are uncomfortable when getting their face painted as the sun is beaming in their eye. Balloons pop faster when in direct sun.
We truly hope we have answered many of the questions you may have had and more. If you have any further questions, comments or concerns, please contact Dan Langwell laughingstockpro@yahoo.com Thank you.
